セイコーのトキオクマガイ ミニッツです。 1980年代、日本のファッションが「世界を追う側」から「世界を挑発する側」へと転じた時代。 その最前線にいたのが、TOKIO KUMAGAIだった。 熊谷登喜夫のデザインは、流行をなぞらない。 装飾を削ぎ落とし、左右を崩し、服を“身体のための道具”から思想をまとう構造物へと変えた。 この時計も同じ思想で作られている。 極端にミニマルな文字盤、無機質で静かな佇まい、そしてSEIKOが支えた精度。 それでもこの時計には、バブル期という時代の熱と、日本デザインが本気で未来を考えていた痕跡が、確かに刻まれている。 ※基本動作確認済。 |
